Yes, I had to go through a bunch of tests to confirm my ulcerative colitis. Blood tests, stool tests, ct scan, colonoscopy.... endless doctor appointments. All the tests and exams took about 4 weeks I think, I don't remember exactly. I was not feeling well at all, neither physically nor phsycologically (I was going through divorce at the same time), so I wasn't really keeping track of things. It was a hard hard time for me, and I'm thankful I had my brother with me at all the doctor's appointments, encouraging me, supporting me, and also when I was hospitalised, he was there most of the time. I wouldn't have been able to bear it all alone.

Hello everyone,
I invite you to share your experience concerning the diagnosis of your condition. There are many tests you can have to take in order to be correctly diagnosed: blood and stool tests, endoscopies, X-rays, ultrasounds, MRIs..
Which one did you have to undergo? How much time did it take to get the results? Which healthcare specialists participated in establishing the diagnosis?
