Hello @Katyloubee82, thank you for sharing what you've been going through. It can be really frustrating when you don't feel understood or that you're being taken seriously by the doctors. Fingers cross for you that you get a diagnosis soon! π€
Can anyone else relate to what @Katyloubee82is going through? Did you have a hard time getting doctors to listen to your concerns before you were diagnosed? Do you have any advice for @Katyloubee82?

Thankyou Courtney I have had bloods taken to rule anything else out and been referred to fibromyalgia specialist so it's a waiting game. Only comfort I seem to get it when I'm in a hot bath!

I am currently in the process of TRYING to get a diagnosis from the doctor, I am awaiting a call back to update doc of my symptoms. I tick most of the boxes for this awful illness I'm in constant burning pain all over, shooting pains, really tired as don't sleep properly, stiffness all over, headaches and I also suffer with ibs!
I feel so low in myself and feel like no-one around me understands I'm just miserable. I do currently take gabapentin due to herniated discs causing nerve pain and duloxetine anti depressants.
Please could any of you advise on what I could say to doc when they ring me so I don't get fobbed off cos I feel I will cry.
I'm 39 and feel 89 π₯Ίπͺ
