Hi All, i am a new member. I have Osteoarthritis, in my lower spine, both hips, knees and now possibly my feet, as i had both feet done because i had bunions, i take Naprosyn its gastro-resistant, i also have hiatus hernia, IBS, and i suffer with gastric-stomach, i take peppermint capsules for the gastric, if that doesn't work i take gertac.

I take nurofen and cocodamol for osteoarthritis. I have also invested in a foot warmer and foot spa both help a lot.

@andrea49 - Really feel for you! have you heard about actipatch? They have a pad specifically for the lower back I think... And they also have one for the neck. You can get it at boots! It's worth a try ;)
Also great tip Hamrowannie. I had never thought of a foot warmer before! Where did you buy yours?
Keep your spirits high everyone :)

Cant take ibuprofen, its too hard on my stomach. I have got great relief from an osteopath in the past but the reliefbis temporary. I have a Tui Na session once a week. Its massage of trigger points and loosening up knotted muscles. Very painful getting the treatment but does give some relief. Amitriplinie and Lyrica do not work for me.

i got both off amazon x

When my hand is really bad I have a wheat bag mitten. I just pop it in the microwave for a minute and put my hand in it. I can even do my physio in it. Also I take naproxen 250mg twice a day for my pain not forgetting the lansoprazole to help protect my stomach.

Hello all,
I have just joined today and wish to say hello to all fellow sufferers of OA.
I have stopped talking all medication in the last month as I have been trying out the gel treatment called FLEXISEQ.
I am amazed at the difference this has made - and only taken 2 tablets in the last month actually due to a headache !
The cream is expensive to buy ( not available on prescription ) but I am willing to try anything.
If you have not heard of this treatment look it up on Google and give it a go !
Hope this may help someone out there with the same problem.

Hello I have tried Flexiseq before and didn't find it to help. I'm glad it works for you tho.
