Hello everyone!
My osteoarthritis effects my hands back and hips. I've had 2 total hip replacements. 12/10 years ago .. On my left one they broke my femur. That is hurting badly at the moment. I am going to the gym to strengthen my hips which is working. But my femur is making me sad. I'm a happy go lucky person but at the moment this niggley pain is bugging me. I hope everyone is doing all good ☺ as they can do. keep smiling kirsten

My osteoarthritis affects both my feet knees and now starting at the base of my neck top of my spine. I need another operation on my left foot but, because the surgeon would need to take grafts from the pelvis, I'd need a ground floor flat and it's very difficult finding one at the minute

Having had a total right hip replacement in 2010 my arthritis has now affected my left hip, both knees and the base of my spine. I am awaiting a new left hip first before my knees are sorted. I have been exercising using the ‘Paracise’ programme created by Sarah Goldsack - a fitness instructor who developed health problems of her own. It’s great to feel more mobile and make lots of new friends as well as having lots of fun.

I had Polio as an infant before the vaccine was discovered and have never walked unaided since I was 15 months old. My right leg, the most affected, is shorter than my left and this eventually led to osteoarthritis in my left hip and knee. Thirty years of walking with elbow crutches has also led to osteoarthritis arthritis in my shoulders, elbows and hands. Unfortunately, although a hip and knee replacement might help, the fact that I also suffer from Lymphodaema which means no orthopaedic surgeon will contemplate this surgery.

Osteoarthritis is the most form of arthritis and it most commonly occurs in the spine, hands, hips, knees and spine.
Where does your osteoarthritis affect you? Is it just one location or several?
