@gwen300 Yes indeed this is a huge issue. I have it too. I bought adult diapers in XXL, but they will fit a rhino....Often have accidents at home and have to clean up after myself. Degrading to say the least...wish we could stop it. But how, does anyone know ?

I believe that as I am 75 it is unlikely that I will succeed in getting well but the struggle is probably good as it gives some meaning to life and I think it will make it easier when it is time to leave this life. I am philosophical and spiritual by my nature and suffering possibly gives me insights into the human condition that I otherwise would not be induced to examining. It is said that " the unexamined life is not worth living" ( Descertes).

Ive lived with asthma since childhood so used to the breathlessness now self inflicted COPD, but as a lot of you have said it's the pain in my knees and hands from OA I've had a stroke I have tremor high BP, I'm always tired love life is nil with all the meds I'm housebound now, so can I get rid of everything else and just keep the Asthma I had a life when it was just that???

The constant pain. I can cope with the need to use crutches and a mobility scooter but the constant pain  really gets me down.  There's no respite.
