Sitting down/driving no problem. but moving around or trying to do a bit DIY leaves me absolutely worn out and breathless. I went to my GP about 5 years ago with a similar complaint and I was sent for an chest Xray, which came back clear, an examination of my heart  revealed a leaking valve to which the doctor replied nothing to worry about lots of people have this problem. So to help with the breathing problem I was advised to use inhalers which quite frankly I have found  useless, and of no help at all. My reading of this is why was I advised to use inhalers when my Xray was clear.? As for a leaking heart valve well I am inclined to believe that this is the culprit, But I am now 82 so fingers crossed.

Trapped sciatic nerve, as it is so painful and causes distress 24/7, which is very wearing and tiring.

If I wanted to give up one of my illnesses it would be my coeliac disease because when you get that everything else comes with it plus I could eat the foods I love and enjoy instead of having to read every label plus I could go out more to different restaurants and eat what ever looked good on the menu plus go on holiday wherever I wanted to instead of making sure there are gluten free holiday places and all these other illnesses that comes with coeliac disease I would be completely free of but that would be my choice as being a coeliac is so frightening at times especially if you eat something that can either make you more ill or kill you or give you some other illness ie bowel cancer etc Tigger

@velocette

My friend has this problem , she blacks out every so often usually feels it coming on and lays down even if on the floor , she was diagnosed with possible leaky heart valve but as yet they have not taken it further , she is 80 ..It’s so frustrating that once you reach a certain age doctors tend to wait , hope you can cope with your condition and maybe soon get some kind of help .Best wishes to you .

Mu husband has a 2-3 leaky valves in his heart and he is 84. He has Atrial Fibrillation and has a heart monitor by his bedside that records the activity of the heart and the recording is read directly by the hospital at night. The doctors say that as long as his heart has a good pumping action, not to worry about the leaky valves. He also has a loop recorder implanted in his heart but i am sure the battery in that must be dead, as it was implanted in 2016 and battery life is 3 years. They just leave the recorder  and don't bother with it any more.

Chronic pain would be the one issue of relief I would most enjoy. Yes there are pills etc. but I found lifestyle change important to reduce pain in some areas. I use to enjoy swimming with my young daughter at the time where just for a few minutes there was no pain, a quite amazing moment for me, stay safe!

I'll say the pain as without that I'd have less fatigue.
