Hello everyone,

During this Coronavirus pandemic, many of us have been advised to "social distance" ourselves or even to stay at home, limiting contact with strangers, friends and even in some cases, family. No more outings to the cinema, the shops, the theatre and all those things we love to do.

We may be "stuck" at home, but let's not let it get us down!

Here are a few little ideas to help you keep busy while staying at home!

Take advantage of this time to:

  1. Call and check up on your loved ones.
  2. Get back into sport (indoors, obviously emoticon wink)! The internet is full of all kinds of tutorials and guides, there is something for everyone!
  3. Read or reread the "classics" or any other of your favourite books.
  4. Spend some time in the kitchen, recreating old recipes or testing new ones. emoticon pizza
  5. Do some spring cleaning or reorganisation.
  6. And above all, do things that make you happy! emoticon dance

What will you be doing whilst staying at home? Do you have any tips or ideas for activities? Share you thoughts or ideas below!

Take care,

Courtney

Im working full time from my kitchen table - so have no time to do anything extra.  It is far more intense than working in the office, where you get regular breaks and interruptions, so I finish the working day as tired, if not more so, than I did when I had an hour of travelling to do as well!  My house is probably more untidy than it was before lockdown....

I have been busy with a broken hip trying to man over my Zimmer frame. Learning to walk. I have everything to do as I live alone. Alas I'm kind to myself I watch films with happy endings. Even throw in the odd sweet. Please take care x

Someone asked me when would we be free of this virus and I said “I think it will be at least five years. It’s proving it now that young people in particular, think themselves immune to it. Even if they were immune, it would n’t stop them spreading it. They only and the rest of us come to that, only have to touch one place and it’s on your hand. I still don’t think that people are washing their hands thoroughly enough. I’ve watched women in the ladies toilet to see that.
