That's the way to go Neil ! Do something practical, preferably with someone you enjoy being with. You are seeing the results quite quickly and your garden will benefit. Well done !!!
ps : Try saying 'quite quickly' 10 times quite quickly ..... difficult, isn't it ?
Keep up the good work. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and STAY SAFE.

I've been shielding since the end of march and the Scottish government has decided its to last at least until the end of July. To begin with it was OK but my mental health has gradually got worse. I do write and create art but am struggling to get motivated. Any one got any suggestions to help get me out of this way of thinking.

Start to look forward to things you will do when it ends...make plans...read a book with a happy ending or watch happy films. Find something that makes you smile each day and be kind to yourself

Think Positively. Keep saying to yourself "I am going to do it, I have done it so far, I will get through it till the end. I am happy" and all these sort of positive thoughts. believe me, it does work. Positive mind can go a long way. keep your self and your mind busy. if you are able to do the exercises, that will be an added bonus, as exercises release happy hormone called serotonin.

I have an app on my phone called Spotify which I use to listen to my favourite songs.
you can also listen to podcasts on there too.
I have a song on my app that reminds me of my late dad as it was his favourite song.

We may be "stuck" at home, but let's not let it get us down!
Here are a few little ideas to help you keep busy while staying at home!
Take advantage of this time to:
What will you be doing whilst staying at home? Do you have any tips or ideas for activities? Share you thoughts or ideas below!
Take care,
