Hello everyone,

How are you today?

The pharmaceutical groups Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany) announced on Monday 9 November that their vaccine candidate is 90% "effective" in preventing Covid-19 infections, according to preliminary results of their large-scale phase 3 trial, which is still ongoing.

What do you think about this? Do you plan to be vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is on the market?

Feel free to discuss and share in the comments below!

Take care,

Courtney

I have had both doses of the vaccine as I feel it is important to protect myself and others and to do my part in eliminating this dreadful virus. I will still continue to wear a mask in crowded places and use sanitiser and maintain regular hand washing. However I appreciate that there are some people that for health reasons cannot be vaccinated and for some they may feel it is an infringement of their human rights or conflict with personal/religious beliefs. I do believe though that with rights come responsibilities and that any decision should be well informed.

@whitecross1955‍... I'm tired of your comments. You are obviously referring to me... If so, say so and mention my name.

I have no need to apologise to you, not that I would, and also am not in the wrong... Neither do I have to give you the pleasure of thinking you are right and admitting if I was wrong . I have the choice to delete my comments should I so wish! Call it perception, call it challenges whatever you wish. Freedom of speech and/or text whatever else.

You've always got to have the last word... Good luck to you in the future and heaven help those that live around you. I've never come across anyone as negative, egoistical and downgrading about everyone and everything as you.

I do not wish to be part of any human medical trials that includes the C19 Vaccine trials which run until 2023..My body and my choice. I already had the C19 Virus in October 2020 So know exactly what the virus is like and choose to take my chances with the natural anti bodies my body has produced to fight the Corona Virus off...Please No negative answers in reply to my comment above.. we all have our own opinions but I do not wish to know yours if you disagree with mine- thank you.

Good morning to all the members, We are all human and make mistakes I have had to apologize to people when in the wrong, Some when they are wrong  insist they are right leading to conflicts. Since I have started to give my views have got special "attention " from some , not willing to realise we are all free to express our views. Throughout my life always had to stand up for myself in school and in workplaces, not only myself but other people who were been bullied or getting special " attention " from managers. On this site people dealing with illness and pain as I posted before, so I excuse rather than accuse I do not mention names. If anyone thinks I am referring to any individual, that is your perception, and I am not responsible for your perception. Let us respect each other views,

I personally would take part in medical trials, for treatments and cure for something I am living with. Such as,IBS,cancer and ischaemic heart disease,  etc

What other people decide is their choice, and I respect and accept their opinions,  and rights to choose

I would never try to Influence anyone into doing anything they arent happy about . Nor,would I try to dissuade them from doing what they want to do ??

I have a stubborn independent streak, that I suddenly realized that most people are not the same. That most are susceptible to pressure to conform to their own straight jacket or political pressure? That it is so easy to pigeonhole anyone who dared to challenge where it is that we are now as demented or right-wing or whatever.....if we do not examine the history of those who now profess to be our saviours.....[This content has been moderated by an administrator] indeed if we do not examine the role that mass manipulative media has played.....what is it that we are to do? To pretend that the past has NEVER happened? Or are we to trust a gut instinct that tells us that WE ARE BEING PLAYED? like serfs in their game of empire-building. Good people can excuse their behaviour. Ye can castigate and agree to allow us to be treated as second-class citizens of the world but that is the start of your own conversion to totalitarianism. Perhaps I'm born to resist such a mentality of slavery but I prefer to take my chances than live in a world of eternal false fear created by people whose only concern is pounds, shillings, or pence.

i hoped that we had heard the last of whitecrosses demeaning the vaccine, i am sick f her doing her best to stop people from making their own decisions, without being influenced by people like her, i wish that the admin team would ban her presence on this site once and for all " .................... Just a copy of an earlier post by you, I am male and I questioned vaccines that testing will not be finished until 2023 Hope you are keeping well. I respect your views and the right to express them as I hope you respect mine.

I won't have the vaccine; I don't trust it and I have antibodies as I had Coronavirus in February this year. NHS blood test has confirmed the antibodies.

If it means I can't go abroad ever again, well...I've had lots of nice holidays over the years so not bothered if I can't go again (and my passport has expired anyway lol).
