I am just awaiting my turn. i will go as soon as I am called. My husband was due to have his 2nd dose on 13th but he had a letter come, saying not to turn up that day but to wait to be called to nearing 12 weeks after his first dose. He had no after affects and glad he has had it.

Can I ask if anyone taking Methotrexate orally for RA has had the Covid 29 vaccine and if so how were they and has there been any side affects? I am concerned that because the vaccine was rolled out so quickly that there hasnt been enough testing on compatibility with other medications.

@nineteen_gale I am 61, I have Fibromyalgia. A life long Disease. Plus Astma. With other underlying ailments. My Doctor has not yet called me, I understand they are very busy. What is going on? I have no clue when they will call. Or. If I am in high Risk.??? What do I Do?

Fibromyalgia is a horrible disease, but not considered as life threatening, but Asthma is a respiratory illness and you should be classed as vulnerable. Even though you are only 61, you should sill be having your vaccine with the vulnerable. But you have to wait till they send for you. You can not just turn u at the surgery or phone your GP. You have to wait till you get a letter.
Good luck

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
The pharmaceutical groups Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany) announced on Monday 9 November that their vaccine candidate is 90% "effective" in preventing Covid-19 infections, according to preliminary results of their large-scale phase 3 trial, which is still ongoing.
What do you think about this? Do you plan to be vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is on the market?
Feel free to discuss and share in the comments below!
Take care,
Courtney
