Yes 100%. I can not do half of what I used to do and need support just to get about now where before I was so active. This condition has effected me both physically and mentally

It was overwhelming how my abilities can change so drastically… sometimes not just day to day but every hour. When the pain and fatigue hit, they hit hard and I can feel myself getting irritated or drained so quickly. I have to watch my limits when I'm out and about.
But as hard as it’s been, it’s also made me so much more compassionate. I see other people’s struggles and empathise so much more. Everyone has their own boundaries, struggles, exhaustion. It's also really forced me to look at how much my mental state affects my body. I actually pay attention to every part of my health now. I’ve learned to protect my emotional energy very fiercely. Stress can send me into a flare so fast, so I choose my reactions carefully. Not everything deserves a piece of me.

Hi everyone 💙
How are you doing today, truly?
Living with fibromyalgia is more than just managing pain or fatigue. It can quietly reshape how you move through the world. Some members feel like they’ve lost parts of themselves that they once knew well, like their energy, independence, or spontaneity. Others discover strengths they didn’t know they had: resilience, empathy, or a new way of listening to their bodies.

There’s no right or wrong way to feel. Your story, just as it is, might help someone else feel a little less alone today.
Take gentle care,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼
