@LouiseJ when i was on Hydroxychloroquine 200mg i was told that i should get my eyes tested every year as it can damage your eye sight, i only took them for 3 months as i was allergic to them hope this helps

I do get my eyes checked

I found my skin is very sensitive to strong sunlight I found that out the hard way when I went to Grand Canaria last year I was in agony with blisters & horrible rash all over me, never sunbathing again like I use to it’s factor 50+ & plenty of shade in future

Hi, I've suffered for a few years now with ra, only got diagnosed a year and a half ago. I'm on hydroxychloroquine and Sulphasalazine. I'm suffering bad with hip pain but specialist says it can't be related to rheumatoid arthritis. Anyone suffer the same? And if so is it related to RA?

@Milldo Hi, yeas, I too suffer great pain in both hips and have been told it's not related to my RA! I have had injections to try and relieve pain but they didn't help at all.  My mother has suffered for years with pain in her hips and was told it WAS arthritis!  I also suffer sever back pain and have been told there is no connection.  I have to use crutches to move around which is very painful for my wrists and hands because of the RA and the upshot is, I don't go very far.  I'm on Sulphasalizine.
