Morphine has helped in pain relief but if you miss a couple of tablets or capsules you get horrid side effects. I am free of pain for a couple of hours before the pain is back with a vengeance and I hate the side effects the morphine gives you

Hi everyone 👋
For many people living with chronic pain, morphine or other opioid-based treatments can offer real relief, a way to finally breathe, move, or sleep without being constantly overwhelmed by pain.
But it’s rarely as simple as just “taking a pill.” The experience of being on morphine is often complex: it can be a lifeline, a last resort, a source of comfort, or even a source of stress, sometimes all at once.
So today, we wanted to open up a space to talk honestly about what it’s really like.
💭 For you to reflect on:

Whether you're currently taking morphine, have used it in the past, or are considering it as a next step, your insights could really help someone else feel less alone in their journey 💛
Take care,
