After being through many painkillers doc and I eventually raised the bar and I was put on morphine, started with a patch but I was allergic to it as it was like an Elastoplast then switched to Fentanyl but I was using too many as they didn’t stick for the 3 days as I was going through the menopause so we switched again to MST. I cannot use anti inflammatory medication as I’m allergic to that too. On many other medications too but it took me years to get the balance right. If you feel like you can get better treatment keep on at the doctor until you find the right combination of medication. Even being on 60mg of MST the pain is still there and I do have a lot of flare ups.

When I was put on this medication I was dubious as to it's effect on my pain. Contrary to what I thought it worked really well and I was so happy to have little pain while taking it. Then I went to my first appointment with our new Dr and she took me off it without notifying me and put me back on a painkiller that doesn't really work for me. So I am now back in pain and all because the Dr thought I was better on something she didn't even discuss with me
