Hi Karen,

My name is Ian,i have had Diabetes for 57 years,i was diagnosed a week before my second birthday. For a long while i have had to wear bed socks all the time, and my hands always feel cold,so i have started wearing wooden gloves to sleep in.They are the only complication, besides having to have laser treatment on both eyes, when cataracts formed 30 years ago.Depending what your blood sugars are is the same or different.

Hi @isophane, diabetes can impact kidney health, especially if other risk factors are present, like smoking for example.
