Hi, has anybody with experienced hair loss? I lost a lot at one point and I continue losing some of it every time I brush my haire.
having lived with lupus for over 30 years I have always had hair loss for me it's just one of those things. I have to deal with. I found if I brush my hair carefully and don't pull and tug it too much. when when I wash it wash it carefully with mild shampoos you don't lose quite as much. if you put your hair up don't put the band on too tight around your hair so then when you pull it out half a hair doesn't come out with band.
It's all practical ways of keeping my hair on my head a good tip is when you go to bed put a hair band in as well then you don't end up with loads of hair on your pillowcase.

I've noticed this too. Even my eyelashes and eyebrows have started to thin out. I don't really touch my hair anymore because I'm afraid it will come out. I used baby shampoo too because I heard it's more gentle.
Hello all, thank you for commenting! 😊
Has anyone else experienced hair thinning or hair loss? Was it caused by your treatments or your lupus itself, do you think? How do you cope with it? Is there anything that helps?

Lupus does cause some hair loss which is made worse by some of the treatment. You can get assistance with wig purchase and some hair mousse also help.
