Hi,

I spent a miserable year on tamoxifen and am now on letrazol. The heat flushes are extreme and I've tried sooooo many things to ease it but nothing works. Anyone else suffering with this?

I bought a chill pillow to help during the night but I cant wait for this to end!

Hi @Loulou64,

I hope you will have some feedback from other patients on letrazol soon.

While you are waiting, here is some information on this drug, from Cancer Research UK website: http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/cancer-in-general/treatment/cancer-drugs/drugs/letrozole-femara.

Kind regards,

Margarita

I was on letrozole for around 6 months to try and reduce a tumour. I didn't have any bad side effects but unfortunately it was not working for me as the tumour was increasing in size.  I hope it will work for you.

IV been taking letrozole since the first of Jan this year , so far not really any side effects apart from the sudden sweats but they do seem to be getting fewer so hope they pass soon but in all honesty I can't moan if this is my only side effects x
