I was on it for 12 months but my latest PSA blood test was down to 0.7 so my consultant took me off it for the time being. When I was on it I put on weight , had hot flushes and felt very tired most of the time

does the tiredness and hot flushes get worse the longer you are on it or do they settle at one position I get 3 or 4 hot flushes per day but have heard of people on tablets because they were getting them every hour

My psa reading is .05 but have another 12 months to do,

my PSA was 125 but after being on hormone therapy for 12 months it is down to 0.7 so as I said the consultant took me off it.It seems everybody has different ideas. I was having injections in my stomach every 3 months but I have to have a blood test instead. I have also had blood clots on my lungs after a burst appendix so I am on blood thinners so don't know if that makes a difference.
