I wonder if my knee pain is more meniscus tear or arthritis which is severe. The kneecap has the arthiritis I had gel injection but that's not really working. So I am not sure which they are treating?

I have osteoarthritis in many areas, but my hands cause me most grief, I cannot grip or carry anything without pain, and a burning feeling in my fingers. My doctor says not to take NSAIDB but I have to, at least ibuprofen reduces the pain, but I have angina, and stents in my heart, so take aspirin daily 75mg only. I can’t take anything morphine based, I am afraid I will lose the use of my hands, then life will not be worth living

I suffer with pain in my knees hips and in my arms I suffer from osteoporosis arthritis and lymphodema in my arm and hand I wear a sleeve and a glove for my lymphodema and I have to take paracetamol fourt times a day, for my osteoporosis take ironic acid one a month and calcium tablets every day if I go out I use my mobility scooter and if I want to just go round the shops I use my rolator, I try and put a smile on my face, but I am in pain a lot every day and with all my other illnesses it's quite a worry but such is life I have to carry on because if I don't then things get worse, last week I went for a shingles jab tomorrow I have my Covid and flu jabs plus now I have to have a liver function test so fingers crossed it is nothing serious, I have already had a lung function test and that was worrying but I know now I do have copd emphysema but I just have to carry on with my meds I just hope my liver is OK so please pray it won't be anything serious Tigger

At the moment it is in my knee. Had a steroid inject 2 months ago, which really helped.
But suddenly, when I turned I had terrific pain in the knee. So I've been referred to orthopedics and gor another injection.
Pain is awful, so having to take strong painkillers.

Fibromyalgia, where is my chronic pain or should I say where isn’t the chronic pain? It's everywhere and anywhere. Every day can be different I am definitely not alone I don’t think any one of my family are pain free each of them have some sort of pain including joint pain due to what ever. Rest, heat and pain relief as required helps.

I can thank the NHS for my chronic pain for the last 16 years. Damage to nerves during inguinal hernia repair. No pain killers work for the pain in my groin and upper leg . I am told by my GP Dr "grin and bear it" that there is no further treatment available. Marvellous!
