Hello everyone,

When I am depressed, I often binge eat. I don't know why but I can't stop eating all the snacks in my kitchen. It usually ends up being packaged and processed snack foods. I use the excuse that I am depressed and that is does momentarily make me feel better. But after the binge, I regret it.

I have heard there are other people that when depressed don't have an appetite. I wish I could be one of them...

Hi @Raindrops! How are you feeling today?

Thank you for starting this discussion. I think it is a very interesting topic to talk about. Binge eating can be a symptom of depression and is hard to control. I will tag some members who might want to talk about their stories, so we all can discuss later :)

Hello everyone! How is your day going?

How has your situation with depression been lately? Does it have effects on your appetite? Have you ever experienced a loss of appetite or binge eating episodes? How do you cope with it? How does it make you feel?

Take care,

Polina from the Carenity team
