People with type 1 diabetes may be prone to certain skin problems, like extreme dryness of the skin, or such conditions as Necrobiosis Lipoidica Diabeticorum (NLD), Bullosis Diabeticorum, Diabetic Dermopathy or Acanthosis Nigricans.
