I've recently just started with a cgm, freestyle libre 2.
I'm on my 3rd week and am loving it!
My bloods are all over the place at the moment due to other things going on, however they are better than previous years.
The alarms are handy to be able to prevent anything serious happening as it gives you a warn when your bloods are going below/above a certain number and you can set that target yourself, which especially is helpful for new diagnosed or young children that my not know the warning symptoms.
I wouldn't go back! I wish I could of got the libre sooner!
Hope everyone has a good christmas

I have been on libre 2 for around 12 weeks now and think I find I have too much information at times and wonder how many times in the past I was running low

Hi everyone,
How are you today?
I thought I would open a discussion to talk about continuous glucose monitoring for type 1 diabetes?
Do any of you use a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) device like the FreeStyle Libre or the Eversense CGM? If so, what do you think of it? Has it helped you to better manage your diabetes? Is there anything you don't like about it?
