I am finding breathing a huge difficulty & not relieved by my blue or pink inhailers. I get dizzy spells when resting and my body aches all over. I eventaully phone 111 for advice & they told me to come to a covid ward. All my vital signs were normal but I did have higher heart rate but not overly. I was dismissed and told to rest drink plenty of fluids. They said I could have a virus but blood tests showed nothing unusual so just told to go home. I still have all the symptoms & dont know what to think.

@Annie14 Hello Annie14, thank you for starting this discussion. I'm sorry you're feeling poorly, it must be rather frightening during this time of pandemic! How are you feeling now?

Hello members, I hope you don't mind that I've tagged you. Have you or any of your friends and loved ones experienced COVID-19 symptoms? What do you think about Annie's experience, do you have any advice for her? What would you do in her situation?

Hello, I'm a frontline worker & noticed wheezing on 14th march, so rang doc we both thought it was chest infection, few days I started to get severe headaches & sore throat so self isolated, then got body aching, temp 39.0 .... I am now in my 5th week, symptoms are long gone, & now we think its pneumonia on the chest, they only swabbed me 4th April, results back 8th April saying Covid-positive I have to date had 3 weeks of Co amoxiclav & steroids I have mine own Nebuliser so I'm able to give myself ventalin & saline nebs whenever, last week tried mixing 2 antibiotics Doxycycline & Clarithromycin Doc said hold on steroids, I have just rang them this morning for consultation so am awaiting phone call. But I sound like a 60 aday smoker still! But I am determined that this will not beat me, & I certainly dont want to go into hospital.  13yrs ago I had a Spontaneous coronary artery dissection , it's a miracle I survived this so I'm blowed if I'm gona let covid pneumonia take me .

@JuneEvans Hello JuneEvans, thank you for sharing your story! What a frightening experience, I'm glad to hear that you're feeling a bit better and you're ready to fight the infection! What was the symptom that really triggered it for you that it was the coronavirus? Do you have any advice on what others should look for?

Take care,

Courtney

I had Covid symptoms for five days following a severe chest infection and after having co amoxyclav and two courses of doxycycline and three lots of steroids too. After day five felt great then on day eight couldn’t breathe rushed to hospital tested positive for Covid spent two weeks on oxygen then discharged home. I continue to be breathless though 😞

Hi guys hope your all doing ok . Well I had pnumonia end of February ( I suffer from asthma quite badly and copd) this isn’t unusual for me as tend to get it after a cold or similar . However I ended up having three lots of antibiotics and six weeks of steroids . Although I am somewhat better now I am still continually coughing  And have once again been prescribed more antibiotics . I have never felt quite so ill and I am thinking that somewhere in this I have possibly had this virus . Problem is I will never know . I am being shielded now but can’t seem to shift this continual coughing and wheezyness . Anyone else had anything like this
