I had had symptoms since the 16th of march how much longer are these expected to last I still can not smell a thing my taste is still off and I am still getting headaches and loss of appetite and high tempreture now I've had what looked like thrush in my mouth and followed by ulcers and the runs now I've a period I dont ever get those  .

Have you been tested? I think it's best to consult with a doctor if your symptoms are persistent. What symptoms have you had for so long?

Please do not hesitate to seek advice . I was very similar tested negative but found I had covid phmnonia which has scarring on my lungs please dibt hesitate get checked out

@Shaun1999 Hello Shaun1999, I'm sorry you're experiencing symptoms, that must be very frightening for you! Have you been in contact with your doctor or with the NHS helpline? They should be able to give you some advice as to what to do.

Yes thank you I've just got some new antibiotics again today this is my second set in two weeks I've got some new ointment for my mouth too hopefuly I will be able to taste and smell soon . The local helpline arent much help as there not qualified doctors I've already phoned hospital several times during this time I was getting really fed up feeling not very nice at all today's the first day I've been out in 5 weeks my vishion was affected too I couldn't concentrate on anything much I had a sore throat high tempreture itchy eyes loss of appetite taste and smell . Each time I called A and E they told me to stay home . Thanks for your advice Marie

@Shaun1999 Hi as just wondering how you are feeling now? I like yourself have been ill since 16/3 and although not symptomatic anymore still not right I was wondering how you were feeling and what your symptoms are now I like yourself have had no test to confirm I had covid19 but gp seems to think I did. I  have been left with a chest phlemgy cough that just won’t go a wheeze that won’t go and out of breath walking still under gp who is monitoring me as I’m still not right.hope you are recovering well 🌈

Hi there Tracy I shure hope you feel better soon I just got new antibiotics yestarday and a liquid for my tounge it got covered in what looked like thrush . Ive still no sence of smell and taste . The last 6 weeks are a blur . I take spasms in my neck and on 3 diffrent inhalers plus a right disc bulge sitting on a nerve in my right leg .  Although this should be sore it seems to have had disappeared now gradualy stating to hurt it did disappear for a few weeks .

 I've felt confused at one point hulcnations and lost weight

no appetite I am still working on that . 

I really do hope you feel better soon

@Shaun1999 Oh god you do sound like you are going through it I’m awaiting call from gp for follow up I can’t seem to cut down on my steroids as soon as I do my wheeze breathless and cough come back to the state it was before I have notice passed few days I have been reducing by 10 mg and wheeze and cough and breathless worse I do hope you start to make a turn for the better goodluck in all of this and wishing you and your family remain safe xx

Thank you Aww I hope you manage to get off those steroids I've heard there no very good for your system just now aww it's awful not being able to breathe I too take 3 diffrent inhalers I hope you find something that helps more .

 I’m currently in hospital I could not keep going and trying to avoid hospital I was taking in by ambulance and currently on the respiratory ward xrays blood tests blood gasses all been done awaiting outcome of those I’m scared I’m alone and I just want my family dr at a&e was amazing as were the nurses healthcare assistants and porters  at present I have had Cole of hours sleep Really struggling with this with the steroids so far I have had treatment wise intravenous steroids antibiotics and fluids as well as nebulisers this sucks whatever it is wrong with me I have been ill now 7 weeks and if I’m honest I don’t know how long I can keep going am tired emotionally and physically am 47 and crying like a baby for my family and I’m scared I have had the covid19 test now 7 weeks from first falling ill please god snot let this be covid
