Hello,

Have you seen this discussion? Where is your chronic pain? Does it change or is it always in the same place?

@JosephineO Hi, my pain is in my right leg if I forget to take pain killers about an hour before bedtime. I have to get up, go downstairs, take 2 x 500 paracetamol and also a couple of 15mg codeine. Sit & watch the box for 45 minutes, go back to bed and then hopefully sleep until 6 or 7 am.

As I have MS and arthritis among other things, my pain is pretty much all over. I get pain in different parts of the body when the MS is in charge but the arthritic pain is always there viciously in my knees and back.

Hiya, is that my "tiger" talking...where is the top fuel in your tank darling lady. A low octane I bet. I'm here to cheer you up you special friend. I have got my motorised scooter and she is called "Ferrari" and has a sticker on her rear end saying just that. ( think I should get one for mine too ) I have managed to learn quickly about her behavior, she's a darling just like you. I took her to my clinic a few days ago and she handled it very well...I worked for the first time in two years, helping out with a deluge of patients. Then again today as there were 39 patients this morning. Have been sorting out all the donated items which I didn't know about. I am going to pack up everything useful for an emergency like the volcano or flooding, or landslides etc, We set up a facility for the victims when serious emergencies arise....so trying to lift and pack has taken a toll on my poor old body. Over enthusiasm has always been a problem for me....I can't sit down and let everyone else do the work but by golly I'm paying for it now. Gosh I'm resorting to a gin and tonic right now...might help the body or maybe just the mind as we have had three patients die in the past couple of weeks, natural causes. So I've been busy with the hugs needed. I'm feeling guilty, coz one nurse is off with a sick son..and the other is not very experienced...how can I get over the guilt of not being able to be a normal nurse again....sad and confused right now. I forgot to leave some energy for myself....Love and hugs to you...Gloria

Hi everyone I hope that you're all having a pretty good day. Apologies to anyone who has left messages for me during the last few months, I've not been very well and had a couple of episodes in hospital.  I have to see a surgeon to arrange more tests.  I'm still not great and may not be around for a little while depending on how I'm feeling but will pop in and out when I'm feeling up to it.  I hope that I haven't offended anyone by them thinking that I couldn't be bothered to reply to them.  At the moment I'm trying to get through as many of my messages as possible.  Thank you for your caring and patience.  May God bless each one of you xx
