Hi I'm Mo, I too suffer with Fibro and am in constant pain which seems to be getting worse with age.  I do take meds but can't reallysay they work anymore.  One minute I'm cold, the next sweating which is so bad that I'm dripping.  My husband says my thermometer needs changing!!!

Don't know if I can help with anything but, drop me a line and maybe we can chat.

Hi I'm Sammi I'm so glad to hear that someone else who's body has probs controlling its temp I cant even wear a lot of make up anymore. I hate goin out anywhere as I think people are looking at me cause I'm sweating. The only answer I get from my docs is it could be my meds.Any help would be gratefully received x

Hi Sharron and welcome to this site.  Please don't be scared of having Fibro, each person is different and it affects us all in different ways.  The only advice I would give you it to take each day as it comes and get to know your limits.  I know that is difficult with all that you do for your little boy, but if you do have any time to yourself make sure you rest. I hope your GP has put you on the correct medication but having said that, it may take a while for you to get the right one and be stable.  Take care and look after yourself.

Mo

Hey. I also have FM. I was diagnosed about 17 years ago. I take a variety of meds but they just mean I can get downstairs most of the time. I used to be heavily into fitness then this hit me. I can handle that but the main problem I have with it is how it has taken precious time away from myself and my children.

Hi..I'm looking for reassurance about my fibromyalgia..I moved house a week ago after weeks of packing and lifting boxes etc all with very little sleep..since moving in I am experiencing all over pain that feels like a bad 'toothache' but in the body plus I am cold most of the time the kind of deep bone coldness you get with flu and of course swaying on my feet with fatigue..is this a fibro flare or should I be worried?
