Hello everyone, do you know if there is a recommended diet for Parkinson's? Do you or your loved one follow a particular diet? If so, what kinds of foods do you avoid or do you eat more of? Have you noticed if it has helped? Has your doctor mentioned nutrition to you?

Hello everyone,
I don't seem to have seen a topic on diet here, but I apologise if there is one already...
I was wondering if anyone know if there's a special diet or foods to avoid for Parkinson's? My dad's neurologist hasn't ever talked about diet or given any advice.
I think I've read in places that we should be avoiding dairy and red meats and be eating more veg and fish, but I don't really know if that's accurate.
Thanks for any feedback!
