Thank you for the survey. I have burnt myself a few times whilst cooking, drinking tea or coffee, and occasionally in the bath whilst having a seizure. I do not cook anymore, my husband does the cooking. When there is no warning sign before a seizure, it can be difficult to control.

Hi there!
My name is Rachel and I’m a 4th year product design engineering student.
For my dissertation, I have chosen to study the prevention of burns caused by seizures. This means I’m undertaking research to help come up with a preventative measure in the form of a product which could protect against burns as a result of a seizure.
