Have any of you heard about these newer COPD injections? Iβd be really interested to know whether this is something your respiratory team has mentioned to you. @Moopiloar8278 @Choocoon @Pleythupling85 @55Jaimaybru @Beybay2 @Deabraprait9226 @Joatoogish381 @Steysteylais @Loostaymeyng3 @Foutheways @Saideashuck @2Grefeeyir @Bayjayl085 @Greefrocloock507 @Cloojoweafit3854 @Dotrouyoat504 @Lipreang3548 @Yochailor0 @369Caysteteng @Cleyflokoaceyr19 @3Grainougros @2003Plucleebool @Yaynout8465 @Chupleyt34 @0167Mefouplayng @Decloudouboang50 @Draifupou @Mopouprout73 @Troodrey43 @Dreejeal17 @564Grayprovut @Raynayyay04 @9Lougleyglet @Greagidosh15 @Feajoor3166 @Pratesh186 @Fideadoat7 @6606Frougriprayck @Vooshoaseysh3489 @20Wablish @Kingfisher @Lethur223 @Caydayboathen9 @Travel2821 @Ducrashoke692 @5057Kimoafrouck @Craideasoung @9Wibraysh @2Vooflaydut @Ceyfreakeack0 @Preatrayloot100 @Veafle7 @8402Chayfraymaiwin @Clucroar9886 @Waygleythee77 @50Crouthifreas @Grobrick48 @Foostoovayl76 @Luceybrar1470 @Sealounaing18 @48Joohicroar @Caishapreabeel87 @128Bleywaiflur @Daicloakaikays4821 @Proadonil789 @8281Creacoasoor @58Stefraifreash @Reabeytur92 @Trigeaviki673 @Regaifeyblil2 @99Choowecaitres @Jaysoung9456 @42Guproaroas @Lutecabroun9 @Sparrow72 @Sheetoafeecush4685 @Beybay9896 @Soaflout03 @Glaclebou34 @Flaludreyfreet73 @9Freracreeng @Woasoafol7165 @144Peestoamairuck @Nouprocoosh4 @Stougasai2214 @9Shuflepoack @Bluthea652 @Vaisayt06 @Shutrafeeng2945 @Gihoabloatoush354 @Deyshisheat22 @Froblaclayn8242 @Roohairor8202 @Broofreedal7231 @Gloadroung8135 @6Jaykoustoang @Woograira604 @81Mepeehayr @Chibodraitong1590

Hi everyone π
Most people living with COPD are familiar with inhalers, steroids, antibiotics, oxygen therapy or pulmonary rehabilitation.
But COPD treatment is starting to change.
Newer biologic treatments for COPD are becoming available for some people whose condition remains difficult to control despite their usual inhaled medicines.
These treatments are given by injection and target particular types of inflammation. They are not suitable for everyone, and eligibility may depend on things such as blood eosinophil levels and how often someone experiences COPD exacerbations.
For someone who has repeated flare-ups, hospital visits or courses of steroids despite using their inhalers correctly, a different type of treatment could offer another conversation to have with their respiratory team.
π¬ Weβd love to hear from you:
COPD care is becoming increasingly personalised, and new treatment options are starting to reach patients who continue to struggle despite standard therapy.
Would you ask your respiratory team about biologic treatments at your next COPD appointment?
With care,
Razar from the Carenity team π
