Hello everyone,

How are you today? emoticon cute

With chronic illness often comes many symptoms that can make daily life difficult. I thought it might be interesting for us to talk about COPD symptoms.

If you could get ride of one of your COPD symptoms, which one would it be and why? How would your life change if it were gone? Feel free to share here, you may find that you have some common opinions with others!

@Courtney_J I would love to be rid of the mucus I'm dealing with recently. It's uncomfortable and makes me cough and I really don't want to be coughing right now when there's the virus! Besides that I'd love to be free of the breathlessness. I can't do half of what I used to, even going up stairs now is a problem.

Hi everyone,

I would love to be rid of the shortnes of breath - stairs are a nightmare, and a long  conversation is hard work.  When we bought this house I did not reallly clock that the road, though short, only 30-odd houses, was uphill. Nowadays I sit on neighbours walls to get my breath to move on! Heigh ho.

My shortness of breath is my biggest problem!! I would tolerate the buckets of mucus and the cough,

if I could BREATHE and walk further than a few meters!!

Shortness of breath seems to be the "winning" symptom with COPD! I'd say that as well. Though the mucus and cough do irritate me too.
