I was diagnosed with postnatal depression when my daughter was about 2 months old. She was a very calm baby as she slept through the night from being a newborn.
My daughter was forcibly adopted when she was between 6 months old and 8 months old. She's 22 years old now, but she was living with a foster carer when I was diagnosed with postnatal depression.

Hello everyone,
How do you feel today?
Parenting is a rewarding but challenging journey, and living with depression can add another layer of complexity to the experience. Balancing your mental health while trying to provide love, support, and stability to your children can sometimes feel overwhelming. 👩👦
For those of you who are parenting while managing depression:
How has your condition affected your relationship with your children? Have you found strategies or resources that help you cope and stay connected with them during tough times? What advice would you give to other parents who may be struggling with similar feelings?
