Hey @maury58! How are you today?
Thank you for starting this discussion today. I understand what you are talking about. It takes time to realize that no matter where you live you can have issues and it is ok. I think it is even harder to understand for parents because they feel like they gave you "all you need", you know? I have always struggled with telling my parents something is wrong, feeling guilty even. Have you considered going to therapy? It can be a great safe space to talk about your depression. I will tag some members who might want to share their thoughts on this topic.

Hey everyone! How are you?
Have you ever struggled with being misunderstood when talking about your feeling? How did it feel? How do you cope?
Take care,

@Tigger.co.uk Hi Tigger , m glad that its only a sinus problem and nothing else . i have suffered with sinus problems for many years and have a spray, which helps. thankfully i dont get migrianes, but know of people who do . i have a button in my nose, because i have a hole in my septum, i dp get lots of problems with rhinitis and have to live with it.
i dont bother the doctor about it because i dont want be have to take anymore medication, as i am taking over 20 a day plus nasal spray and eye drops then of course theres my insulin, it does not bother me having to take it, as i know what can happen if i HAVE A HYPO ?
take care of yourself and hope that the breast cancer scans are clear. i am waiting for either a chest xray or c.t scan to check that as an ex smoker my lungs are in good condition regards mr chipps

My parents are immigrants and they don’t understand when I tell them I struggle with depression. I live in the UK, life is great- right?
Does anyone else have immigrant parents that cannot comprehend depresseion?
