I have tried numerous anti depressants for forty years and none of them worked . I was sent to see a psychiatrist recently and he put me on a course of mood enhancers which made me quite poorly. When I told him he said unfortunately medication doesn't work for everyone but didn't offer me an alternative to medication. I am still suffering and not getting any help .

@Satch1 How did the brain scan go? Has anyone tried any alternative treatments or anything? I'm don't feel like my medicines are working anymore like they should and I'm tired going round and round with the doctors over this.
