I take each day as it comes, try to have a focus for that day. Today is pretty good, but it gives me a nudge every now and again. H

Hi everyone,
How are you holding up today?
Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) are one of the most common treatments for depression. They can be incredibly helpful for many, but they can also come with side effects that don’t always get talked about enough.
Some people report physical side effects like nausea, headaches, weight gain or sexual side effects. Others notice emotional changes, like feeling “numb,” flat, or disconnected. And for some, the medication just doesn’t seem to help at all.
💬 Have you tried SSRIs?
📌 What side effects (if any) did you experience?
💡 Were there any coping strategies or adjustments that helped?

We’d love to hear your thoughts, whether you’re currently taking SSRIs, have taken them in the past, or are just trying to figure out if they’re right for you.
There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. Every comment helps others feel seen and less alone.
Take care,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼
