Hello everyone,

Breathlessness is one of the most challenging symptoms for those living with respiratory conditions like asthma or COPD. Whether it's climbing a flight of stairs or even resting, this shortness of breath can majorly complicate daily life.

What do you do to manage breathlessness in your day-to-day activities? Do you have any breathing exercises, devices, or techniques that help you better control your breathing and avoid flare-ups?

Feel free to share your experiences and advice with the community!

Take care,

Somya from the Carenity team 🌼

@smokitcat Hi there

It’s good to hear that you don’t experience this too often, a nebulizer can be a real lifesaver on those tougher days. Do you find it works quickly for you when you need it? Thanks for sharing what helps you manage!

Take care,

@Brian123 Hi, how are you feeling?
I'm really sorry to hear that, staying still until it passes takes a lot of patience and strength. I hope you have some support during those moments, it’s not easy facing that alone. Take care of yourself, and feel free to share more if it helps.

I feel that my COPD had progressed to another stage over the last year,and my inhaler is not making a great deal of difference. How do I approach my health care provider.Is there much they can do?

Hi @Ballirna
That sounds really tough and frustrating , I’d definitely still recommend reaching out to them to let them know exactly what’s changed and see if there are different inhalers, medicines, or even pulmonary rehabilitation options that might be more effective. Wishing you the best, and let us know how it goes!
