I am still isolating I work in the hospitality industry and am conserned that my company will put forward for me to return even part time I'm high risk  which my manager knows about so hope I can have the option or not to refuse just for now anyway? I'm still worried as don't want contact with the public as not even had contact with my family and grandkids x

@Catlady01 Hello Catlady01, thank you for starting this discussion. I think many are concerned about this, especially those in retail or hospitality service industries that come in contact with countless numbers of people every day. Let me tag some members who may be able to share their advice or weigh in on the subject.

Hello all, I hope you're doing well in these difficult times. Are you preparing to go back to work? Do you think it's too early to be opening up shops or the hospitality industry? What will you do to protect yourself when you return to work? Feel free to share your thoughts or opinions here!

I am shielding and due back to work on the 4th July

I work in health and social care, (carehome) and obviously feeling anxious and I have not heard about any extension? but I can not see there being one, as shops etc are opening slowly, but because of this lovely weather and people flocking to the seaside places (which I live in one) I am thinking there might be a second wave of covid-19 cases increasing because of it, as most people are not social distancing , which makes me worried and upset

Hi I am shielding since the start of this terrible virus.

I work in a care home, I have COPD and am obviously worried about going to work. This is not just for me but my coworkers and residents.

I want to go back to work and wish someone could tell me how safe it would be.

Kind Regards

Helen

I’ve ordered some masks so might ask for some shifts for July.

it’s worrying as I have COPD but if I continue to wear PPE, maybe that will keep me safe.

I don’t want to stay in forever.

Hi our carehome has ppe in place, but im still anxious about going back, we have a resident who coughs and has a constant runny nose another who spits at you, I used to worry about it before this now its making me few more anxious ……. It would help if we knew would be safe, but the government do not have any idea themselves

Apparently im having a risk assessment over the phone tomorrow

they have ppe in place, but wearing masks make me cough, i have an exemption card, so don't have to wear them in shops, but that doesn't count at work, maybe a shield, but how safe are we?, now the goverment are pass the buck to individiual councils to keep an eye on the rates ......I do not know what to do or think
