COPD and COVID-19: Have you been told to shield until August?

I have recieved my letter,which does advice can go back to work starting August 1st.It does advise that sheilding is only paused,so therefore if a second wave comes we go back to sheilding.

I'm in Wales and my latest letter states to continue shielding until 16th August. As for the masks, I haven't heard anything yet, but I do intend to try and wear one when I am allowed out. 

Rang my doctor an receptionist said they can't do anything about  a cover letter saying I have copd.

If you go on SUNFLOWER they do a lanyard with a card n wallet advising you are exempt.Thankyou to a gentleman who advised my on this site.Altogether with postage round about £4.95

@DEBBIEW1 thanks Debbie I ordered mine on Friday so hoping I get mine this week as due to go back to work after the end of July I have c o p d and asthma 

Have ordered mine as well.Due to go back to work on 3 August.The office i work in is right in the middle of our town centre.Frightening,so will be wearing mask and visor.

@DEBBIEW1 Im due to go back on the 3rd as well I work in retail dreading going back hopefully it won't be stressful for u going back to work 

One of my work colleagues who slipped through the net..did not get a letter regards sheilding goes back to work today.Will give me an update.I really hope all goes well for you when you start back.

@philantropist I go back to work on the 3rd of August but just going to take one day at a time just know been sheilding since the 1st of April by myself I'm cracking up with all this hope everyone stays safe and hope u all have a good week
