Jeepers, there is so much. I find docs are fairly clueless with head issues and diagnose by pinning the tail on the donkey.

Ten years ago I was diagnosed with Menieres disease, and then i had cervical spine surgery, and so the ENT consultant said he couldn't treat me as the nerves in my neck could create symptoms.

So for years I struggled, and felt useless, and eventually an ENT sent me for an MRI scan. I got a new job and moved, so months later I was found at my new G.P and a letter was sent saying brain tumour...but nae sure. So I go to new ENT, who prescribes meds in case, and to help with symptoms. I go on meds, and I am doollally, I struggle at work, the world is spinning whilst at my pc, I dont say anything as I do not have job protection as I am too new, but, lose my job. THEN, the ENT says, "we had a meeting, it isn't a tumour, it is excessive bone growth by the inner ear"....and it takes time to wean off the potty meds. I am shattered, still unemployed, my confidence is blown and well..I still get headaches, tunnel vision, vertigo....but I'm not going back to get more pills thrown at me, they made it worse

Wow, it makes you have so little faith in the health care system, sorry to hear how rough that, i mean seriously that is so stupid how they keep messing you around, they seem to forget we ourself do try and have a job and a life other than trying to deal with ill health!

You look after yourself and keep talking to whoever your comfortable with chatting too about this stuff,  that trust me none of my friends or family seem bothered by.

What a massive blunder by the hospital concerned .

Haze, Hope that you have a headache free day today. Stupid question ; are you drinking enough or are you under a lot of stress /anxiety?

Big hugs my lovely friend. x
