hi @rainbow768
How are you doing today?
I know that there is a constant struggle for people to quit smoking or other vice such as eating or shopping when anxious. Let me tag a few other members to see if they have experienced something similar, maybe they can share some tips with you.

Have you picked up a habit due to anxiety? What was it? Have you been able to reduce or stop it? Do you have any tips for @rainbow768?
Take care,

Yes I stopped smoking by force and determination 20 years ago, the aids were not invented years ago to help. My wife still smokes and she has given up on occasions through medical scares etc. but always fails. As with any addiction only yourself can do it, you may find the aids help. What I would say I have always regretted giving up and pangs return often but looking at the price of them always brings me back to my senses. I have decided when I get my final notice from the medical profession I shall be straight down the corner shop for a pack of twenty!

Smoking has helped me through so many anxious moments but I know it's bad for me so I want to stop. Did anyone try to stop smoking here?
