Me and my Godmother were so close to each other, just like real mother & daughter. However, her husband doesn't like me. I've been told by my Godmother and her friends that he is quite controlling. A month ago, at a early morning, me and my Godmother had a serious argument. She wants to take a break from our relationship so that she can fix the issue with her husband (he didn't talk to my godmother for a few months, the reason is one night, i was sick, my godmother look after me, she didn't go home and cook dinner). In the mean time, she told me that her husband said I'm a bullsxxt. Therefore, I couldn't control my emotion, I shouted at her and questioned her (that's my fault). I was focusing on she's gonna abandon me. Then she deleted me from social media, block my number. Now she has cut off all the ties, has nothing to do with me. When I was in hospital, she didn't attend family meeting, she and her husband only had a chat with my doctor on the phone, they said they feel this relationship is too much for them, they dont want it. They dont want to talk to me. I really want to say sorry to my godmother about my emotion. I miss her so much. But I don't know what can I do.

@VicBB09 I would recommend that you give her some space for now and hopefully she will see the light. You can't force yourself on someone but I understand that you're sick and not feeling well.

I think space is all you can do.

Hello there. I’m not sure if I’m doing this properly but I understand your pain. And it just don’t go away does it. My parents stopped talking to me 6 years ago and it hasn’t got any better. They still have contact with my 25 and 22 year old daughters which I brought up alone, but they have NOTHING to do with me. It won’t get better and it don’t go away the only thing I can say....is IF YOU CANT EXCEPT ME AT MY WORSE THEN YOU SURE As HELL DONT DESERVE ME AT MY BEST.... keep telling yourself this and TRY to push it to the back of your mind. Feel sorry for your god mother who is sooooooo grounddown by her husband that she can’t make her own decisions. Your the strong one. It’s her that will be needing you. then its  YOUR decision if you except her back or not.......good luck.

Hello josephineO. Thank you for your reply. I just hope I have done mine correctly. I wrote how I was feeling with regards to my issues and no one has answered. Have I done something wrong as I’m a bit new on a computer. Lol

@Bowbow81 Yes, I agree. You should feel sorry for her because she is the damaged one wo lives with a tyrant.

Has your situation improved? @VicBB09‍
