Christmas is for children , as adults, family it is our job to faciltate their experience. I have less sympathy with adults expecting a similar experience, yes there are pressures etc. today but Christmas is for children!

I don’t like Christmas, l would like to hibernate until it’s over. I think it’s over rated and has become too commercialised.

I'm no longer a fan of Christmas. It is for children who get enjoyment from it just as I did as a child. Regret, it is too commercialised and so much money is wasted. This could all be donated to charity. Christmas gets quieter each year as I do not celebrate it having family living so far apart.

Hello everyone,
How are you doing?
Now that the Christmas season is soon upon us, I thought I'd open this discussion for us to talk about mental health during this period. While for many the holidays are a period of joy, celebration, and gathering with family and friends, for others it is a time that brings sadness, loneliness, anxiety, or depression.
Here are a few helpful tips for coping with stress and depression around the Christmas holidays:
And you, what do you think? What are the Christmas holidays like for you? Do you have a harder time with your mental health around Christmas and the winter period? How do you manage your mental health this time of year?
