Hello,

Unfortunately COPD brings a lot of harsh symptoms with it...from coughing and fatigue to shortness of breath.

Which symptom do you, or your loved one, find the most difficult?

It is not old age, breathlessness, cramps and any other symptoms need to be taken seriously. Ask your Dr about pulmonary rehab exercises for the breathlessness, these are breathing, sitting and gentle walking type exercises. Again for the cramps there are lots of gentle exercises you can do and try Schweppes tonic water which has quinine in which is good for cramp.

It's shortness of breath for me. I find it hard to attend any social event as I get very anxious before & during this event. So I avoid attending any social events.

I also suffer from cramp in my chest, and if I get it on both sides at the same time it is difficult to breath. Whilst I don't wish this on anybody, it's a relief to know it goes "with the territory" so to speak
