I was diagnosed at the end of March with DCIS, I had a mastectomy and reconstruction on 18th April. I am almost through my first month on Tamoxifen. Anyone else done similar recently?

Hi Wendy Jane I have had the same diagnosis and had a mastectomy and reconstruction on June 26th. I am also on tomoxifen. I had no chemo or radiation tg. I'm experiencing thrush as well as other side effects how about you??

Hello,

I came across this really old discussion, and I thought this might interest many of you, as Tamoxifen is an effective hormone therapy for breast cancer.

Have you been treated with Tamoxifen? How did it go? What side effects have you experienced?
