Hi, I have secondary breast cancer in the orbital area behind my left eye. Diagnosed primary & secondary at the same time in April 2016. I would be interested in talking with anyone who has similar or anyone who has knowledge of this type of cancer spread.  I am presently on Letrozole to control the metastasis of the cancer cells, which has been working so far!

Regards,

Bernadette.

I had Invasive Lobular Cancer, diagnosed March 2015 at Age 48. I was very lucky, I had no symptoms and felt no lump. It was only found as my surgery was taking part in a trial and offering early mammograms to patients over 47 .

I had Stage 2 45mm tumour and spread to lymph nodes.  I had 6 rounds of FEC-T chemotherapy, a lumpectomy, 12 lymph nodes removed, only one affected,  and Radiotherapy.  Currently in remission and  taking Tamoxifen for the foreseeable future.

I have just had my second annual mammogram after diagnosed which was all clear, so far so good.

Hi,

I was diognosed with left side IDC with Lymph Node & Vascular Invasion in April 16, age 49, I was pre-menopausal.

My treatment plan was a Lumpectomy (18mm Grade 3 Tumor was removed) a Lymph Node Dissection (25 removed with 2 positive)  6 Cycles of Chemotherapy FEC-T, then 25 fractions of Radiotherapy which ended on 23rd Dec 16.

I started on Tamoxifen in the October, but did'nt tolerate it well, in February they changed it to Letrozole, so i am currently having Zoledex Ovarry Suppressant, and Zometa at 6 monthly intervals.

I've had my 1st annual mammogram which has come back clear? So in October we will be planning my reconstruction Op for next year.

I have triple negative Breast cancer and found this more frightening because after treatment you are not on tamoxifen or similar drug to prevent a return. You feel you are flying without wings almost

I have Invasive Micropapillary Carcinoma (IMPC) of the breast, and it is Triple Negative. I think it's quite rare, especially the triple negative aspect, so I'd be really interested to hear from anyone else that's come across this

 Thanks
