Hello everyone,

How are you today? emoticon cute

With chronic illness often comes many symptoms that can make daily life difficult. I thought it might be interesting for us to talk about COPD symptoms.

If you could get ride of one of your COPD symptoms, which one would it be and why? How would your life change if it were gone? Feel free to share here, you may find that you have some common opinions with others!

I would like my lungs clear to be able to blow my bagpipes again. Although at age 76, I do not think it will happen, but even to be able to walk about and climb the stairs without gasping for air at the top.

I was diagnosed with COPD about 3.5 years ago, I manage it well, it doesn’t impact on my normal daily life, just when I am doing harsh exercise, I believe this is the key to keeping most of the symptoms at bay, remain active within your abilities

@Poleateybeal613 sadly eradicating breathlessness is virtually impossible, but with close monitoring and remaining active, you can protect what lung function you have. Initially there maybe a margin for slight improvement.

I was in hospital in march with pneumonia and the breathlessness and cough are still there. I would appreciate anyone telling me if there is anything to take to ease this. Thank you
