Can diet impact psoriasis?

my doctor says diet doesn't effect the condition, well not that they can prove, but he said a lot of other suffers say it does. can anyone recommend any changes I could make please. I have recently changed my cows products for goats where possible.

@Courtney_J I saw in the article that nightshades are the most common trigger for flares which was interesting to me as I'd never heard that before. I stopped gluten myself for a time and it did seem to help me overall. DOes anyone else have a problem with nightshades?
