I finished radiotherapy 8 days ago for breast cancer.  No reaction while I was having it now it’s red sore, itchy, with little red spots.  Any advice, have been putting E45 on twice a day.

@Pudding Hello Pudding, thank you for creating this discussion and sharing your experience. I'm sorry you're have side effects, that sounds very uncomfortable. Let me tag some members who may be able to share their advice with you.

Hello members, I hope you don't mind that I've tagged you here. Have any of you been through radiotherapy and had a reaction like Pudding? Do you have any advice for her? What did you do to treat it?

I was exactly the same, followed by intermittent pulsating dull aches from breast into back, it was very tolerable. My has seem to have passed. Trish

I had exactly the same.  Wear loose clothing - keep putting the cream on and it will eventually get better. If you have real worries that it is not easing - contact your breast care nurse. I still now have some back pain which I think radiotherapy caused.   Be kind to yourself - it should pass.
