@Rasputin: It's got to be an ongoing treatment, unfortunately. Once you stop, chances are very high of it coming back, but nevertheless, it works!

Phototherapy worked a treat for me. My type of psoriasis is called Guttate and although the flare ups go away on their own eventually the treatment sped up the progress by a good 2 months. I found it really helpful :-)

I have had several courses of Phototherapy and it always improved matters. I think it has to be an ongoing thing, not a complete cure. I cant have it anymore unfortunately, because I have had two Melanomas, one cancerous, the other pre-cancerous. The specialist is reluctant to let me have any more treatment because of these, but it was good while it lasted :)

Hello everyone,
When talking about psoriasis it is difficult to talk about a treatment because till now there is not a permanent solution known. But there are some treatments that help to cope and have the condition under control. A common treatment is Phototherapy.
Does anyone uses Phototherapy as a treatment? What do you think about it?
