I had triple negative breast cancer. I had chemo first then a lumpectomy.all went really well.  Got the all clear 30 June. Waiting now for four weeks radiotherapy. It's been a long and axious time but being positive has helped me through.

All the best Niki - I still worry after having had triple negative that after all the treatments there is no on going treatment. Have you had any advice on diet or anything? I am fine now a few years after but still worry if there are unexpected pains or medical problems!

Hi margaret1. I've just been told to eat healthy and walk as my joints are a bit sore. Although vitamins helps. Do you still have mammograms. Did you have radiotherapy and how was that ? I'm glad you're doing well.

HiI had six rounds of chemo followed by 3 weeks of radiotherapy. - 15 days! I convinced myself that radiotherapy would be a walk in the park after chemo and it was although I got a bit sore towards the end. Now after I still get pain in some of the muscles in my back - I blame that on radiotherapy. I have gradually got better - I went abroad only a month after treatment but little things have bothered me- I have had a polyp, a kidney stone etc- none of these to do with cancer but annoying. Also I was told just about weight and diet and exercise. I try and maintain a healthy diet and weight - I walk - but I just wish they would give you a bit more info- foods to avoid etc. I have a mammogram once a year. The thing as I have said is that my sister who had hormonal Breast cancer takes tablets- which I assume are prentative- while I have nothing to take - and although in some ways this is good - it is also worrying! All the best Nikki !

Hi Margaret. I had 8 rounds of chemo and will have 20 days of radiotherapy. I'm hoping good diet and exercise will help us and hopefully be enough to keep cancer away.

@Weeblemum

How's there. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Wow you've had it bad too. I am still awaiting results of the hormone receptors and her2.  I am very interested in your treatment and how it's affecting you. I may be put on the same thing who knows. How are you coping ??

 The messages went into my junk mail so I've only just seen them x

Lisa I am so sorry to hear this. The one thing I can say is that now the range of treatments I available is growing all the time. In all of this look after yourself and the children. You are having a tough time but modern medicine is far better than it used to be. Take care and all best wishes.
