It seems as if when I get one symptom, more and more follow it. It’s like a domino effect. Especially in this 40 degree heat. My fatigue has gotten worse. After that, my cognitive issues got worse, then my speech slowed. And I'm sure like most people can relate, when you have trouble communicating, it is STRESSFUL. And stress is ALSO a trigger for MS. It’s like a never-ending battle...

Maybe it's just me but are you noticing your symptoms more in this heat??

Hi @flowergirl

Weather - the classic conversation, this heat certainly is worth discussing.

Does anyone else feel the heat aggravates their symptoms? Are they symptoms more intense/frequent? Do you notice any new ones? How are you keeping cool, both physically and mentally?

Anyone want to share? @Kanaboyo @waggywoo1 @billyjon @NicolaS @Byojaxs @CallumFlowers @Lindseypharoah @MSWarriorAj @Chelle79 @Talori @Hanleys @Jax1980 @Nigldr @Casper50 @JoMcGowa* @podger @Daisy7 @Lissatweed

Not as hot as some places where I am but yes the humidity and heat has definitely had an impact on my fatigue levels.in work I have noticed trying to say something at times has been slower or the words come out completely wrong which if talking to a service user in my eyes can come across as incompetent.

Firstly, I'm sorry to hear you are suffering so much.

I also struggle alot more with the heat, my symptoms flare up, my head feels like it's got a cloud/fog inside it therefore making cognitive issues worse 😞

You are definitely not alone in this! From one #mswarrior to another, stay strong, you've got this 💪 x

Whilst I was quite impressed with myself about how well I coped with the recent heatwave I have completely lost it this weekend. Yesterday I didnt even get dressed, grazed rather than ate a meal and barely moved because any effort caused pain, increase in heat -and mostly both.

Today at work I just didnt cope - and thats not me! I couldnt think about more than 1 job at a time (Im using juggling 3 things with phone calls in addition) and became totally overwhelmed to the point where I almost walked away from my job. Thankfully I have a great boss and we agreed that I would concentrate one 1 role and let others pick up the other stuff. However 10 minutes tidying on the kitchen after work has left me exhausted again. Its not as hot as it was a few weeks ago and cant fathom why its so much harder right now.....
